Dear Friends & Neighbors,
Nothing makes me more proud than to call Chula Vista my home. Our city is a thriving, diverse community that represents the best of what California has to offer. We have a bright future ahead of us — but only if we have the right leadership.
That’s why I’m running for Chula Vista City Council, District 3.
I believe I have the experience, ability, and vision to be an effective representative for our community, and I hope to lead Chula Vista into a new phase of prosperity.
I have served in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. While I was in college, I started a small manufacturing and distribution company, which still thrives to this day. I’ve also launched my own non-profit, which helps to connect our schools with their community. Finally, I’ve spent time in public service, first as a music teacher in Chula Vista, and now in my current role as Policy Advisor to Councilmember Steve Miesen.
Our city has a number of issues that we must face over the coming years, ranging from public safety, education, traffic and transportation, water and sustainability, economic development, parks and recreation services, homelessness and dozens of other issues. I look forward to utilizing my past experiences to manage these issues while finding solutions to seemingly intractable problems.
As a long-time Chula Vista resident, I have developed a strong record of volunteer service to this community. I’m ready to give back in an even greater capacity — by serving as your Councilmember.
This election is just a few months away, and I look forward to speaking with as many voters as possible.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
